Naturalization ceremony held for most recent US citizens

Posted on August 11th, 2011 No Comments

At Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan a naturalization ceremony took place honoring upwards of 70 service men and women. These individuals are from an array of different countries and backgrounds but they all chose to enlist in the United States Armed Forces.

Accelerated naturalization was passed in a bill proposed in 2002 by former President Bush. This bill allowed service members who were in the current War on Terrorism to obtain naturalization at a much faster rate due to their service. These ceremonies have become tradition among members of the United States Armed Forces.

These deserving individuals were sworn in as citizens during the ceremony and were given a certificate of naturalization.

If you are considering filing for naturalization in the United States, you need experienced representation to help you through the application process. Please contact the Austin naturalization lawyers of the Law Office of William Jang, PLLC, by calling 512-323-2333 today.
