The Texas HB 532 is causing a debate that is dividing many people. The bill is splitting people into two groups, those who think the bill is racial profiling and those who do not.

The bill was announced last week and already the lines between the two sides have been set. One side of the argument says this bill will be better way to control illegal immigration and the other side says that the new bill will allow Texas to follow in the path of Arizona.

If passed, the bill will give law enforcement officials the right to check the immigration status of anyone arrested. Each side of the argument is speaking up about the issue and are passionate about how they feel about it.
