Several Texas newspapers polled voters on what they think about enforcing an Arizona-style immigration ban in Texas and the results show that most Texans are in favor of this.

The results from the poll show that 53 percent of voters support it compared to 38 percent who do not. Besides the Austin area that came out to rally against the ban in May, many other areas of the state are for the ban.

The poll showed that voters that are registered Republican were more in favor of the new law than those registered Democrat. Neither gubernatorial candidates has said whether or not they are in favor of the Arizona-style immigration reform.
