Governor Rick Perry was on FOX Business Network in order to discuss issues such as his office’s relationship with the White House and the heated immigration debate that is underway.

Perry also discussed the upcoming election in which he is running against Democratic candidate, Bill White. Perry said that he is very comfortable although he does not put too much emphasis on poll results and that he is hoping he has the opportunity to serve Texas for four more years.

Perry spoke about the new immigration law in Arizona and said that he respects the fact that the governor of Arizona did what they thought was needed for the state. He added that the immigration debate will never come to an end if the border is not secure. Gov. Perry also said that that Texas would not be attending the border meeting if it was not in Arizona.
