Arizona law creating debate within state

Posted on July 9th, 2010 No Comments

The new immigration law that was signed into effect by the Governor of Arizona is seeing a conflict between the two parties within the state of Arizona.

An issue that some of the democratic legislatures have with the new law is that they think that it does nothing to secure the U.S. and Mexico border.

At the same time, some legislators are frustrated that the state had to do something so drastic because they feel that the federal government did not do what was necessary to secure the border. A Congresswoman has issued a boycott against Arizona after the bill was signed.
